Kirby Whyte
President

Kirby Whyte, founder of Creative Video of Washington, has been the President and Executive Producer of the company since its beginning in 1981. In addition, he plays many other vital roles for the business including interviewer, director, cameraman, editor and narrator. Hard work, dedication and excellent service have enabled the company to grow over the years. Through Kirby’s strong leadership, Creative Video has successfully gone from a small one camera, two person operation to a full service production company. Creative Video now produces and stages conventions and meetings all over the country, and produces hundreds of video projects each year from its newly expanded facility located in Tysons Corner

Matthew Eidemiller
Vice President of Production

Matthew Eidemiller has served as the company’s lead technical director and staff engineer since February 2007. In May 2010, Eidemiller was promoted to Vice President of Production. In addition to technical directing and engineering live events all across the country, Eidemiller oversees the operation of all of Creative Video’s productions.

Eidemiller graduated from Clarion University of PA in 2006 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Communications. While at Clarion, Eidemiller was the Director of Remote Productions for WCUB-TV, the Clarion’s local television station. While holding the position for three years, he directed over 100 different sporting events, live newscasts and studio productions. Upon graduation, Eidemiller gained employment with ACI, a sub-contractor of Comcast Cable, in Pittsburgh, PA, where he worked as a cable-installation technician, until moving onto CVW.

Since joining Creative Video, Eidemiller has rapidly turned his engineering skills and his experience in both the cable and telecommunications industry and Regional Television production to the benefit of the company’s convention and entertainment clients in the Washington DC metro area and around the country. While technical directing and engineering have been Eidemiller’s main responsibilities over the past three years, his responsibilities have gradually increased to include budget preparation, invoicing, advanced client interaction and show management.

Notable productions that Eidemiller has led include Challenge America Songwriters Circle, which was selected as a 2009 Aegis Award winner in the live event production category, the VA-National Medical Musical Group, Healing for the Nations 2009 Veterans Day Concert, which aired on CNBC and the National Heritage Fellowship Awards Concert for three years.

Ashley Caudill
Editor/Producer

Ashley started her video production career at James Madison University, where she graduated with a degree in Media Arts and Design, concentrating on Digital Video and a minor in Technical and Scientific Communication. Her first video production job was a camera operator at the local television station, WVPT where she continued to volunteer her time for two years. Ashley also co-hosted a news related campus radio show on WXJM for a year. Throughout her time at James Madison University she held multiple video production and post production jobs all with local video production companies in the area. Ashley also held a job with the campus’ Center for Instructional Technology where she helped assist faculty members with technology software or hardware issues. Ashley is excited to be a part of the Creative Video team as their full time Final Cut Pro Editor and Producer.

Nicole Wong
Special Projects Consultant

In 2003, Nicole Mora moved to the DC metro area from Toledo, Ohio, excited to join Creative Video of Washington as a Media 100 editor. A native Texan, she is an honors graduate of the University of Toledo and a former sports videographer and editor for the Toledo WB and The Toledo Mud Hens.

While Nicole is no longer a full-time Producer / Editor for Creative Video, but is still available for special projects.

Barbara Withycombe
Office Manager/Book Keeper

Barbara Withycombe has been with Creative Video of Washington for seven years. She is the Office Administrator as well as being responsible for all payables and receivables for the company.

Barbara is a graduate of Columbia College in Missouri.  She worked previously in both the banking and the savings & loan industry before joining Creative Video.
