Branding the Lower Third Graphic

With all of the BLOGcasts and blog posts, we’ve continuously discussed the importance of incorporating your company’s brand into all of your video marketing efforts. Whenever possible, it’s important to incorporate a streamline image with all of your video marketing material.

Branding can be as simple adding your company logo to your letterhead and it can be as intricate as using consistent font and writing styles to all of your presentation materials. A good place to start is with your company’s logo and color scheme. Since most companies already have an established logo, deciding on a color scheme can be as simple as pulling out hues from the logo.

Since lower thirds are purely visual and informative, they are another great place to streamline your branding efforts. By using company colors and even the company logo in your lower thirds, your production will instantly be tied in with your business’ image. The key to branding the lower third graphic is to be consistent. By using the same lower third design, theme and animation the lower third graphics will tie your branding efforts together.
